Match This by Fiestarisa

Privacy policy

Effective October 5, 2026

Fiestarisa is a party game for groups playing together in the same room. This policy covers Fiestarisa's Match This app and the game server it talks to. While Match This is in testing, the app is available only to invited testers.

In short

What we collect and why

Your nickname. Other players in your room see it. Before it's shown, OpenAI's moderation service checks it, to keep names family-friendly.

Photos you take in the game. The app sends each photo to our server so the other players in your room can see it. OpenAI's moderation service checks every photo before anyone sees it. In AI Judge rooms, an OpenAI model also judges whether each photo matches the round's challenge. We don't use your photos to train AI models. Photos are kept only briefly: a round's photos are deleted when the next round starts, the rest when the room ends or after about an hour without activity, and none are kept after the server restarts.

A random install ID. The app creates it the first time it runs and keeps it on your device. It isn't linked to your name, phone number or email. We use it to limit how many requests one device can make, which protects the service, and to know whether this device bought a Party Pass.

Room details. The room code, game progress and scores live in the game server's memory while the room exists.

Birth year (hosts only). Before a device creates its first room, the app asks for the host's birth year. The answer stays on the device and is never sent to us. It decides whether the device can host a room (13 and older) and how ads are set up.

Technical logs. Our server records request types, response codes and timing so we can keep it working. These logs don't contain room codes, names or photos.

Ads

Free rooms show a short ad between rounds, at most three per game, only to the person who created the room. Google AdMob provides the ads, limited to content rated for general audiences. Google may collect device identifiers, such as the advertising ID, and information about how ads are shown and used. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, Google's consent message asks for your choice first, and you can change it any time under "Ad privacy choices" on the app's start screen. Hosts under 16, and hosts who skip the birth-year question, get limited, non-personalized ads. The app never asks iOS for permission to track you across other apps. See Google's privacy policy.

Purchases

The 24-Hour Party Pass is bought through the App Store or Google Play, which handle payment. We never see your card details. RevenueCat records the purchase with the install ID so our server can confirm it. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Service providers

What we don't do

No accounts, no contact lists, no location, no face recognition, no analytics services in the app, and we never sell personal information.

Children

Fiestarisa is made for groups of friends and families and is rated 13+. It isn't directed to children under 13, and a device whose user says they're under 13 can't start a room. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Your choices

You can change your ad privacy choices in the app at any time. Deleting the app removes the install ID and saved settings from your device. Because rooms and photos are deleted automatically within about an hour, we usually hold nothing to delete, but you can contact us with any request.

Changes

We'll update this page and the date above when our practices change.
